Print & Embroidery

A couple of my embroideries and detailed views.

Some of my print collection from first year.
These were all screen printed, which I have done in the past but not as intensely as this, it was lots of fun experimenting in the print room and I am definatley more of a print than embroidery person I think. I dyed all my own fabrics and used pigments, acids, reactives, discharge, devore, metallics and metallic foils within my prints. The screens were created by abstracting drawings from the first visual language module.

These are a few of the drawing sheets and drawings from the first project of my degree called visual language. This was a seven week drawing project focusing on observational drawing and introducing us to lots of different medias.
